Where did the summer go

Sorry everyone for being MIA since June. Shame on us. I guess we have been enjoying the nice weather and fun London summer things and not actually writing about them. C and I have been meaning to update but she is on holiday back in the States and I’ve been loaded down with work. We have some great ideas to bring back the blog so hopefully some of our readers haven’t completely jumped ship at this point (totally understand if you have though). We’ll get crackin’ in the autumn with some good londonness soon!

Best,
C & A

Halfway There: 7 Down, 7 to go

And with that, we mark our half way mark for our challenge to ourselves.  7 down and 7 to go!!!!!!  I hope you all have been enjoying the flood of updates!

All the best,

A & C

We’re still here!

So I think all this sunshine and great weather we have been having lately in London has made C and I a bit distracted from blogging about London and rather actually doing things outside in London again. Sorry about that but who can blame us–we were here last year for the crap summer we had so we know a good thing when it comes our way. We actually have quite a lot to post about and we promise we will get a few new posts up about all the crazy and amazing things we have been doing lately and that you should check out as well. Thanks for sticking with us and enjoy the sun! I know I’ll be at a park tomorrow… probably on my laptop typing!

Black Cab Sessions

NOTHING CAN BE BETTER THAN COMBINING GREAT MUSIC WITH A CLASSIC BRITISH ICON

So, if you enjoy raw and live music from up and coming artists along with streets scenes from London then check out this website. It’s the black cab sessions. These guys film artists singing a song a two in the back of a black cab as they drive around London town. The best part is to find places and streets you’ve walked down. It couldn’t get much better unless they manage to fit a band in a red telephone booth. Also, check out the video of the British band the Kooks since they drive through Angel and Islington and almost drive pass our flat! If Black Cab Sessions tickle your fancy, then also check out Blogotheque. It is the same idea of recording live music from bands in what they call take away shows; however, these are not specifically based in London but more in flats and streets in Paris and Los Angeles—still great none-the-less. The Beirut take away show is a classic and you can see the Kooks as well.
